石碑？公園？

五羊屯駅のD出口から、出てすぐの右側に石碑はあります。正面には五羊新城広場の建物があるため、紛らわしいのでひとまわりしました。
広場への入り口がわかりませんでした。

とても中国らしい勢いのある石像です。

中国の方にとって、広州といえばこの五羊仙庭の像を思い浮かべるのだと思います。
勢いのある大きな羊か山羊が、天を仰ぎ今にも飛び上がりそうな姿は、いまや世界を席巻する中国の姿そのものの印象を抱きました。
