This is a very peaceful place in the middle of the city. Take a tour to learn the history and stop to admire the many beautiful Buddhas and other statues of kings/sorcerers (in the front). We didn't see many Pagodas, but I really liked this one.

This temple site is steeped in history, and the efforts to restore and maintain it are indeed commendable - after quickly figuring out how entrance works (the ticket office is a short walk from where the actual entrance is), we were greeted by very polite staff who handed us some incense sticks to use during our peaceful stroll through these... We strolled around at the nice campus and appreciated the old trees and beautiful architecture but it was pretty average if you have seen similar temples. The tickets were cheap though, so overall it was okay.

A lovely little oasis in the middle of the city. Worth seeing if your here but it wasn't as spectacular as other pagodas.

I worked in Guangzhou for four weeks in October and November 2016. The Temple of the Six Banyan Trees is in old Guangzhou. After a visit to the Guangxiao Temple, you can walk here in about 10-15 minutes through old Guangzhou but be sure to have a map. I am lucky that I can speak some Chinese so I was... More

Located in the older part of the city, the temple is a trow back to much more older days of Guangzhou. The serene atmosphere inside the temple courtyard is in stark contrast to the bustling surrounding streets full of street vendors, old shops just like in the old days.

A ticket is only 5rmb (About 50p or so). There was also no queue at all when I went there on a Friday afternoon. It's not really a tourist hotspot, and as such it wasn't busy or expensive, but I you happen to be within walking distance - which I was, then I think it a nice little spot to... More

This is a pretty temple on the small side road. It actually consist of several buildings not only the high tower . Old beautiful buddas in several temples. If limited time it's worth of visit. Nearby other places also good to pop in while there.
