it is very lovely park to visit, there is also underground bunker with was built during the time of war but it was closed. but ofcourse you need to have good muscle to visit this place, need to walk and climb the stairs a lot.

It is a tough challenge to find this landmark as there are many gates to the humongous YueXiu Park. That is, if you travel on the very efficient, regular, comfortable and economical buses. Maps are unavailable in English and Google is not accessible in China...More

Every city has it is own culture and history. You can learn a lot about the past of Guangzhou at Yuexiu Mountain . It is a also a good place for a walk .

The park is huge with several places of interest and they're building a pool in the centre which should be completed by the end of the year

Visited there in May 2002 first when I was getting my visa, then again last year returning there as an adult! Very nice still! The sheeps are still there, no difference. Except there are more trees and vegetation around the mountain, very nice.
