Impressive socialist monument, worth a visit. Located a little bit hidden, but close to Lenin square.

This small park has lots of pleasant walkways shaded by the trees. The giant wall-mounted relief display is in the corner of the territory. There is serene and private feeling in this park at all seasons.

I was surprised to see this monument dedicated to Soviet heroes. Given the changes in Russia in recent years, I would have thought that it would be downplayed. However, wherever you go in Russia, there are displays for the Soviet era and plenty of staues...More
