I was the only one there so that was nice. A small square to the Opera theatre and right near Apollo's statue. Outdoor cafes and markets around. By the way, we went out of the dryga-bar "Loshadka" in Mira 91 where we hung up great...More

Broad Soviet square over looking river. Summer outdoor cafes & food stands for al-fresco eating. No English anywhere, so be prepared to point & gesture. Lovely fountain honoring Siberian Rivers is only thing worth seeking out.

This is one of the most beautiful places in Krasnoyarsk. The square is situated on the left bank of Enisey river between the Opera Theater and Krasnoyarsk hotel. There are many beautiful fountains there.

Beautiful ice statues, huge Christmas tree with spectacular lighting, little market to buy sashlik, decorated horse carriages, locals strolling around, kids sliding down ice slides, Yenisei river covered with vapour, Genadij the cloud along the embankment... Ah,...More

The whole reason for the visit to this city was the geocache in this square. It didn't dissappoint, a lovely square with benches to rest ones tired feet. I should imagine in winter it would not be so inviting to sit for too long :)
