The oldest church in the city, this cathedral was built in 1631 to honor the people of Nizhni Novgorod who saved Russia from Polish invaders in the early 1600s.

The only church preserved in N.Novgorod Kremlin

This tiny ancient church is the only one preserved till today inside Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin, it remains one of the biggest attractions for both tourists and local residents, inside there is a tomb of the prince founder of the city and a tomb of the national hero local merchant Kozma Minin

The Mikhailo-Arkhangelsky Cathedral

The Mikhailo-Arkhangelsky Cathedral is situated in the center of the Kremlin.
This is the only monument of a religion achitecture on the territory of the Kremlin which was kept until ours days. Here lies the ashes of Kuzma Minin.
