Yes the walls and ceiling were pretty displaying murals and beauty vs. ads like other subways. We rode the subway one stop and it was just like any other subway you've been on.

Get a Metro Tour, it is one of the cheapest and the guide would tell you all about the history of the art/stations, that is priceless!
