One of the most beautifully decorated metro systems in the world. Some stations are purely art-pieces: marble, bronze, crystal chandeliers. Worth a ride, but better avoid peak hours and beware of pick pockets.

Get a Metro Tour, it is one of the cheapest and the guide would tell you all about the history of the art/stations, that is priceless!
