The Mariinskiy Theatre is a must and if you have the chance to see a performance, the best!!! We have seen BORIS GODUNOV, almost 180 people on stage, and the magnificent acoustics made it unforgettable. First class and also the treatment of the staff.

When selecting seats, note that the stall boxes are actually just on the side but at the same level (maybe slightly higher) as the orchestra seats.

Dear Fellow Traveller - Unfortunately there are no tours for the public. You need to possess a ticket for a running show to enter and witness the grandeur of the theatre.
