Although without many other visitors, I did enjoy a walk through the Summer Gardens on a Fall day. Very nice stretches of trees. Canal on one side. Very pleasant.

Even now in autumn it`s a wonderful place with nice view towards the silhouette of Petersburg. I believe it will be more charming in summer time.

Next to the Hermitage with an entrance from the Neva side. Statues doted all over the place... very pleasant. In the winter months the authorities cover the statues with boxes to protect them from the elements... looks really strange!

I came here during autumn and so many of the trees had already lost their leaves, plus it was a fairly wet and overcast day. I imagine that in summer or spring it's much nicer. Still quite pleasant to walk through even in autumn.
