This is located in the more residential area of St. Petersburg however don't let it discourage you as it is located at both a Metro stop and bus stop. It's rich green is quite overwhelming in a city full of grays. Oh no need to...More

We happened to pass through this area and stopped to take a few photos on it. The museum on Russian Military History has been closed by night when we visited the sight.

This is nice arch to see, if you like architecture. There is also a museum in the arch, but when I was there it wasn't open.

There is an interesting museum inside this monument (Museum of russian military history). So try to get in! The door is located on the inner side of the Arch

This monument is located in industrial district of St.Petersburg next to the underground station "Narvskaya". If you are interseted in travel photography you will like this place. Take a wideangle lens & go to see it. You might also like a beautiful quiet park called...More

A beautifully designed and built arch to commemorate the Russian victory over Napoleon, a tremendous feat considering that many believed Napoleon to be unbeatable as he moved across most of western and into Eastern Europe, winning earlier encounters with Russian troops.
