This is an amazing temple at the centre of St Petersburg. Great architecture and mosaic interiors. Also the ambience inside the temple is a special feeling as we were very lucky not facing any crowds. Definately to visit while staying in St Petersburg

This icon of St. Petersburg is impressive from the outside, but the inside is absolutely stunning! Some work is currently being done to the top of the highest dome, so it has some scaffolding covering it, but it doesn't take away from the overall beauty.

9 years ago didn't pay to go into the church. Only 2 small market stalls. Now ticket booth to pay to enter, several souvenir sales areas inside church and street full of market/tourist stalls. Still great place visit. Awesome restaurant serving traditional Russian food near...More
Unbelievable place, busy and a real cultural eye opener. A real storybook depicting the life of Christ all done in mosaic form. Huge Italian marble pieces. One can't help thinking back in recent history of what this place was.
