It’s an amazing square either in the morning or even at night with quite and less people you will enjoy of buildings ,statue and green gardens

A lovely area, surrounded by many fine buildings, a nice park is close by and Peter the Great stands proud overlooking this fine area.

This is a big square that has a lot of activity going on. Surrounded by historical structures and with a nice statue- this is a key spot to visit.

Our group of 28 geocachers from Canada and US visited the square and held a geocaching event there by the Bronze Horseman. Many interesting old buildings.

Putin gave a speech at Senate Square on Navy Day 2017. I went there another day and there were wedding couples taking photos there.

This is also called Decembrist Square, and the main attraction is the bronze statue of Peter the Great called the Bronze Horseman
