You have to be impressed with the amazing Icons in the cathedral. A lot of steps for some people to climb but it is worth it.

Located inside the walls of the castle, this cathedral is amazing. The altar piece fills the entire wall from floor to roof and there are lots of icons all over the place. Free to enter but (as the rules are) women must cover their heads...More

If you are in Pskov you must visit this place, full of history and beauty. I liked icons and religious drawings.

We enjoyed visiting the Trinity Cathedral and the Kremlin. The church itself is beautiful, and the whole Kremlin area is neat. Not really a lot to see, I would plan on spending an hour or so at most.
