At one time, Vladisvostok was one of the strongest coastal fortresses in the world, and the concrete structures used to fortify the city can still be seen at the base of mountains, along local roads and in the seaside.

Although weather was atrocious the day we visited enjoyed this tremendously. Good selection of military vehicles (albeit some in poor shape) and guns. Includes an indoor museum which was part of a comprehensive system of military tunnels.
