You won't miss it if decide to walk along Tverskaya Street from the Red Square. There is also a monument of Yury Dolgorukiy(=Long Armed) opposite the building across the street. He is considered the founder of the Russian capital.

Not a good reconstruction of an old building. Looks like fake, not in Moscow style. Not worth to visit, except you're fooling around Tverskaya street

The City Hall/Mayor's Office is the bright red building located between Pushkin Square and Red Square. A real standout worth architecture to just stand back and admire. Especially in the evening when it is lit up. Wonderful to photograph. Would love to have seen around inside but not possible.

Staying in Tverskaya

Neighbourhood Profile
Tverskaya
Tverskaya can’t be discovered with just a first glance, the neighborhood is shaped around a long street populated with well-known shops and brands. But it’s more than shopping that makes this place interesting. Take a few steps into the streets running parallel to the main artery to discover the charm just behind the mighty Stalinist style architecture. Comfy European pedestrian streets Bolshaya Dmitrovka or Stoleshnikov lane are a great place to start. Locals can be found here working, eating, shopping, resting and going to the Bolshoi Theatre in the evening.
