Stunning church from the outside and spectacular inside. Bag check on entry and no drinks allowed inside. This Russian Orthodox Church is not to be missed. Fabulous ceilings as you would expect but only one thing against it.....the red garish lights above the altar? which...More

The cathedral is a must see in Moscow. The architecture is amazing, the grandeur of the structure is imposing. Don't forget to visit the church underneath the main structure, well worth the visit.

Filled with frescos and icons this is another must see site within the Kremlin. The contrast between the stunning architecture outside and the very simplistic designs inside are well worth seeing

Don't miss this cathedral. It is new but keeps the character and spirit of the old constructions. The views from the roof-top are also great.

The website "Moscow-info" says the following: "Visitors can only see the cathedral as part of an organized tour." Is that correct? The reviews have not mentioned it. Thank you.
