I am not into shopping but this is an experience to not miss if you are in Red Square (let's forget the irony of a plush, decadent mall in the shadow of Lenin's body...), even if just for a walk around. Shop, eat or just get warm...

Every luxury brand you can imagine is represented there. The building itself is worth browsing through. When at GUM have an ice cream. They are delish.

There are many, many stores in GUM Department Store. It's a great big mall with many levels. You can get snacks to eat, including these great ice cream cones, and just window shop. It is themed during the holidays so it's very elaborately decorated. It's a great place to get in out of the cold. And it has very high... More

Visit also the store with the old traditional Soviet products. Enjoy and relax in one of the... More

There was a Russian theme and lots of fur and prices were in $. English spoke throughout. There is a great Tourist kiosk on the ground floor and... More

The GUM department store is another must see place in Moscow. With its central fountain and various floors, bridges and walkways, hosting a variety of retail stores snack bars and coffee bars all big names and bespoke. A comfortable place to shop.

This is a beautiful shopping centre. It is a converted train station. Locals don't shop here. It is very expensive for local Russians unless very well off I think Australia is expensive but this place will give us a run for our money This has the most brand names I have ever seen in one place and Russian shopping centers... Great architecture! Nice place to grab a lunch or tea or shop for souvenirs. The glass ceiling is fascinating.
