Another part of Kremlin you must not miss

So much bigger area than I had realized. Contains 68 acres behind the Kremlin Wall. Several churches, Kremlin, The Armoury, Towers that are all different. The Armoury is amazing

The Kremlin conjured up a vision of a rather forbidding dark grey building so I was completely surprised by the beautiful buildings and churches that are inside the Kremlin walls. A bit of a queue to get in but I guess there's a trick to what's a good time - early? lunchtime? There's plenty of space inside and some lovely... More

Such a magnificent group of palaces dotted with white and golden cathedrals and red walls circling Kremlin. Beautiful gardens and a glimpse into Moskove river. You should not miss it when visiting Moscow.

The Kremlin is actually a large walled off campus that contains parks, cathedrals, museums, and a few unused residences (including an unused Presidential Palace) in addition to the Parliament's meeting spot and offices for officials.

As surprising as in my dreams to be there with all the colours-gold and silver-more contrasted than in the photos I saw before arriving there

I was underwhelmed by the Kremlin. The churches inside are interesting but similar to other Russian Orthodox churches. They do a soldier performance that is cheesy. The tsar cannon and bell are impressive in size. More interesting are the Armory and Diamond Fund.

The Kremlin is no doubt on everyone's list of places to visit for reasons that have been stated many times. I ended up visiting twice in the one day, first thing in the morning as part of a guided tour and then privately again in the afternoon as my husband had missed the tour. In the morning we had a...
