A free park easily accessible on the metro. Many memorials to see in a large space. Wear comfortable shoes and check this place out. At Park Peabody Metro and next to Triumph Arch, I went here to spend some time outside before heading back to hotel. Great spot to reflect.

Just a quick recommendation to visit Central Museum of the 2nd World War. We booked a tour with a guide to explain about the dioramas - amazing experience! It took about 2 hours, the guide was excellent, friendly, sensitive to our interests (I visited with my teenage grandson). The park is grandiose, we enjoyed the ice statues of Moscow sights.

This is a nice park with a number of memorials on site. Good for taking a stroll while getting a better understanding of the history of this country.

The Victory Park is on of the most important public parks in Moscow City. It is easy to get there from Park Povedy Metro Station. In the centre of the park there is a huge monument of St George slaying the Dragon and the Great Patriotic War Museum, which is also very interesting and deserves its own review. You can... More

This place is good for walking (and there are a lot of rollers and skaters there) but primary it if for military artifacts seekers. You may visit a WWII museum but better look for outdoor exibition for armored cars, panzers, battle planes etc. Go to the left and down from the center for it.

This extensive park has an area for family attractions at one end and a memorial statue and eternal flame at the other end with fountains, lakes and a beautiful church in between. Lots to see and do.. On the day we were there Land Rover had a display stand where people could test a Land Rover over a difficult slope... More
