This is absolutely the nicest way to see Moscow! As a foreigner living here we have many friends&family visiting us, so we have tried many activities. The bike tour is without a doubt the nicest way to show people around and also to get to know the city better!

I did a tour on a pretty ordinary rainy day, toward the end of the season. Vado was a good guide, the shop was easy to find and with a very good selection of bikes. It is worth making sure that you have moderate fitness, as Moscow isn't Amsterdam - there are hills to climb, and I hadn't ridden a... More

One of the best bike tours we have ever done. Vado modified the tour, on the go, based on how everyone was feeling and what we wanted to see. He was very knowledgeable and spoke English fluently. It is a must do!

The 4 of us were the only people on our tour. We started at 11 and even though it was scheduled to finish at 4, Vado extended it until 6 so we could see more. The pace was perfect and the bikes were first class. Although Moscow has a lot of traffic, Vado knows how to get around Moscow on... More

Vado took us on a great tour. He really loves what he does and it shows. We saw the whole city and got a great workout. He explained each place we came to. His English is perfect. You get the feeling you're spending the day with a friend. He also snapped pictures of us and sent them to us. This... More

Great ride through Moscow. Our tour guide Vado was friendly and patient. My favorite city tours any where have always been by bike. We saw many interesting palaces and streets of Moscow that I did not find on the internet before. If you want to experience Moscow, then this bike tour is definitely a good way !

My friend and I went on a four-hour bike tour with Vado, who very kindly showed us around the city. Moscow is such a huge city - too big to walk on foot and too crowded to drive - so the bike tour really is an efficient way (and healthy way) to see the city! He brought us to many... More

Thank you so much Vado. We absolutely can't rave enough about how great the tour was. Three of us started at 11pm on a Friday night and finished our tour of a buzzing, vibrant Moscow at 4am Saturday. Vado took us all over the city, gave us a history lesson from a Moscow local who loves his city. Great tour,... More

I love bike tours and never fail to hop on a bike in the various places travelled to. I did the evening tour in Moscow and Vado did not disappoint!! Great communication throughout from booking, and then also on the day as an incoming storm was threatening to impact our trip, but we shifted it earlier and had an amazing... More

For any first time visitors to Moscow, I will fully recommend the bike tour with Vado. We took the grand city tour and we fully enjoyed it. Riding bikes and exploring different areas of Moscow and even stopping by a really really great bakery and cafe. Vado is great fun and approachable and made us feel welcome.

Staying in Zamoskvorechye

Neighbourhood Profile
Zamoskvorechye
It wouldn’t be a mistake to call Pyatnitskaya street the main axis of this neighborhood – turn one direction and you’ll find the Tretyakov Gallery in Lavrushinsky Lane, turn another – a hip Scandinavian restaurant. Old churches now embrace contemporary life with style and grace. Going to Zamoskvorechye is like visiting during the times when it was a medieval Russian quarter, but with a modern twist of 20th century buildings pushing themselves into the 21st century with new businesses opening weekly. Stroll down Pyatnitskaya to taste dozens of global cuisines – from Ukrainian and Georgian to Thai and American.
