The last days of May are the time to visit Temisvar. Although the unexpectedly nearly 30-degree weekday in Timisoara seems like an ideal location. Pay attention, Romania does not use the euro yet, so you need to find the exchange office with the possibility of...More

This is a very large square with many old and beautiful buildings. Some are in need for some general maintenance but none the less the whole city is charming. Great place to get out and about.

Great place to visit for a few days! Good restaurants and beautifull squares. Reccomendable to do some guided cycle tours or hiking tours in Timisoara or its region

We were in Timisoara just before the Christmas Eve. The city was nicely decorated. The Christmas bazaar was huge and wonderful. Nice people. The city center is full of beautiful historical buildings - unfortunately many of them need renovation.

Any time, the historical center is animated by people but at this time the location is very special! It’s impossible to resist the products sell by small producers. It’s a Haven of taste and food parfum!

Given its heavy burden of communism, Timisoara is not that pretty outside of the historic centre, but in it it's very beautiful, and very tourist-friendly.
