Beautiful Historical center reminds so much central Europe and not Balkans.

Very much enjoyable city center walking ride .
Orthodox church (cant remeber exact saints name) with women monks was an experience to remeber.
The anti-communism Romanian Revolution started here in December 1989. Today Romanians still like to demonstrate here as we witnessed an anti-corruption demonstration in the evening there. Besides, the Center itself is beautiful illuminated or not.

We were in Timisoara just before the Christmas Eve. The city was nicely decorated. The Christmas bazaar was huge and wonderful. Nice people. The city center is full of beautiful historical buildings - unfortunately many of them need renovation.
