The building is old and the condition is poor. The exhibitions of paintings are in chronological order from 18th to 20th century. There are some nice pieces of art, but the collection is small.

Nice late barocco building, It used to be the residence of the Austrian governor of Transylvania. Because of unsolved heritage disputed cannot be renovated but it should be. Collection representative for Romanian art, temporary exhibitions; Sometimes events organized in the room Entry fee very cheap.

Beautiful building, amazing collection of paintings. When you walk from room to room, you feel as you are in another time - creaky old wooden floors, beautiful big windows... Magical!
