If you're gonna be like me and do absolutely zero research before going there, you're in for a treat. It's basically one hour of hiking and it's awesome! Make sure you start at the beginning and not at the end of the gorge, like I...More

After visiting the salt mine, this is a great way to continue your day. We were not charged at entrance, although there is a sign saying that they do. It took us about 1,5h to go and come back. The place is in good conditions...More

Really beautiful to walk through the whole thing but do be aware that it does become quite difficult at points and will require you to hold on to the rope at the side. If you have any problems walking then it will not be for...More

Turda Gorge can be accessed at two different starting points, and takes about 1 1/2 to 2 hours to transverse through the gorge, but it is a beautiful and worthwhile hike. I would rate this trail as a moderate hike as it transverse from flat,...More

Was planning visit here during our stay in Cluj. Noticed map on trip advisor site is wrong, placing gorge just outside western edge of city. Be careful; it is east and 20km away. Needs correcting.

Loved our day at Cheile Turzii. The stones on the path get very slippery when wet but on a dry day we had no problems. Lots of different sights, so much to see!

Easily reached from Turda. Great view approaching the place and easy parking with a few kiosks in the parking lot where one could stop after the walk. The gorge is rather short and not so deep but still an enjoyable short walk.

Nice location to travel to for a picnic and hike up through the gorge and up the sides, but be wary of the extreme number of visitors. The road gets in some parts only about 50 cm wide on the mountain side and the other...More

There are 3 parking lots, upper one offers a grill shack an a couple of small tourist shops, and a great view from the top of the hill. The first one in the walley had mostly the same stuff including the food. The third lot...More

Impressive place where you can see what Mother Nature can create. It's a must-go place if you are travelling in Cluj area. However, please be aware that, during week-ends can become quite crowded and, as the path is really narrow in some areas, can be...More

I do not know how much it costs to go by taxi to Cheile Turzii, but I think that's pretty much it. You could go with a city bus to Cheia and from there to walk because it is close! checks on the map. but via ferrata route it... More

From Cluj you can take a bus or a minibus to Turda. From Turda by taxi. I m not sure if there are minibuses to Cheile Turzii. Most people go by own car.
