We wanted to visit this natural reserve in the last days of summer. The place is a little bit remote and the access is quite hard even by car. After you arrive at the base camp you take a narrow forest road to the river....More

I went there with some friends and wanted to do the knolls circuit. There aren`t too many signs and went inside the gorge, instead of climbing on the right side of the mountain. I called the mountain ranger which was very helpful and said that...More

This place is recommended for the people who enjoy hiking. We hiked to the top of the mountain, which is not very high, and it was not a difficult hike, and then we returned through the gorge. We enjoyed both hikes very much. The view...More

Myself and three friends drove out the Gorges following the route as directed to google maps, which actually took us to the "end" of the trail by way of a small village, past a shepherd and his flock, and through the middle of a yet-unplanted...More

It is a very nice place, mostly because you cannot visit it by car and you have to walk by the side of the river. That is kind of an adventure too.

The roads to drive there are just ok .Once you get there on the top of any hillside you get to see great views of the mountains and all the areas around with a very nice green landscape in the late spring time

From Cluj you can take a bus or a minibus to Turda. From Turda by taxi. I m not sure if there are minibuses to Cheile Turzii. Most people go by own car.
