With my 14 year old son we participated in the "Discovery" outing and it was a pleasure. There is good equipment, helmets and gloves are clean and the advice is very practical and educational.
The boss of this company is very considerate and reassuring, each at his own pace, without dragging too much...
The route allows to circulate in a varied and very beautiful vegetation. A small part at the end of the route is done in urban areas to return to the Check-out Point.
I highly recommend this activity!

A great moment!!!!
I would like to point out that I was new to mountain biking and I managed to keep up….no pressure felt….each at their own pace and no judgment
Explanations always very clear and precise
Safety is an important and reassuring point
Thank you very much for this great time!!!!!

The instructor released me after 45 minutes because I was too slow.... Telling me that I'm not listening, that at my pace we'll arrive at 6 p.m.... and he released me. .. For a discovery course, where he briefs you by saying that it's not a race, that some are more comfortable than others, and that it doesn't matter.. I felt oppressed, stressed , even lowered... When you pay 70 euros, it's crazy... A couple's outing that ends alone, great... This is my personal experience... Very very very disappointed.... I won't do it again .

Bonjour...

Superb descent of 28 km with changing landscapes (lava at the beginning, wood and roots to finish in the middle of sugar canes).
The bikes are in good condition and Thierry is an educator and cool!!!
explanation and technical advice before each delicate passage.
At the end of the walk, a little briefing with a very good punch 🤪.
Thank you Thierry, I had a great time.

A great outfit in St Gilles. My wife and I are roadies with a little MTB experience, and went for the discovery trail option, perfect for our level. The trail was fantastic, starting at the top, going through Tamarind forest, and finishing though sugar cane fields was really interesting.
Fred (the owner/guide) was fantastic. We stopped along the route with him explaining the next sections and a little about the flora of the altitude of where we had stopped.
The bikes were in great shape too!

I would thoroughly recommend this to anyone who enjoys biking!

The tour is amazing and Fred, the guide, is the greatest tour leader ever.
The best way to enjoy mtb and to go deep inside the nature of the island.

If you like landscapes, nature, mountain bike and sport : you are at the right place !
We did the Tour (level 2/3) starting from the top of the Maïdo (alt 2100m) and ending near the sea !
That was a beautiful sport experience ! The track is beautifull and the guide (fred) knows perfectly the trees, plants, and explains you very well how to use your bike.

I encourage you to do the tour without any hesitation !!!
Sylvain.

It was crazy on my side to book a trip from the very top of the volcano back to the coast because I had no experience with Mountain Bikes!!! It looks easier than it actually is on the videos :) Anyway, Fred was so professional that he found alternative ways for us, avoiding the most difficult parts that the group was going through. So we could enjoy the whole trip without injuring ourselves too badly! Spectacular adventure, but be sure that you can do it, otherwise you'll be covered with bruises and experience muscle pain for a couple of days! There are also tours for beginners!!!

Our family of 4 did the discovery trail. We started at 2200 m (above the clouds). Although it was quite cold when we started, you quickly forget about it. The whole trail is stunning, going through various types of vegetation and forests. Our guide, Frederic was superb. His guiding was very good, always telling us ahead of time, how the terrain will be. I never felt pressurised to cycle faster than I wanted to. If you like adventure and a bit of a challenge, I will highly recommend this trip. It was definitely one of my highlights of Reunion.
