After visiting the Cathedral, we decided to check out the Capitol Building and in front of it was this beautiful lagoon park. There was a kiosk selling iced coffee, etc. which you can enjoy seating in one of those chairs nearby while enjoying the views of the lagoon/park.

We passed through this lagoon right after we finished our immigration report which is alongside the park. We managed to grab some good cup of joe next to it and it was not too bad. This park is nice to walk around and just spend your quick errands and take a quick break,

This public park has witnessed the transformation of Bacolod from a small and quaint town into the bustling city that it is today.

Nice at the mid of the busy-ness, it is always refreshing to see body of water. Clean body of water that refreshes tired body.

I spent almost an hour here, just relaxing and enjoying the ambience.

There are other attractions located here: the Capitol building, statues, Conservator for local birds and other animals, signage, and Negros Museum.

Note that there are trees around it and benches for one to sit down.

This park was nice for a walk around today. There is a Christmas tree lit up at night. Seems popular with teenagers on weekends.

Too bad, the only things that you can do here is walking around the area and seeing tilapia begging for food... No other activities except to those people enjoying zumba every 5am. You cannot even bring your pet inside. This place is a carabao/tilapia-friendly park only.

Relax and sit down underneath the trees, feel the wind, take a walk, walk briskly to exercise, jog around the center pond, do some stretching, come early morning and join zumba classes for free, yoga in the grassy area, or just sit down and watch other people as you unwind after a long day...

We come here often. We jog. We bike. We breeze walk or just have some me time. The place is a huge park in front of the Capitol building which is a heritage as well of Bacolod City. In this park you can feed the school of fish 🥰 children are safe as the pool has barricades for safety purposes. This is a No Smoking Park, there are designated smoking area. If you love to jog, this is the place to be, if you like to do yoga or zumba, this place is perfect. There are benches, trees, a huge space for everyone ❤ If you come to Bacolod never miss to visit this place, its perfect 🥰

I was in town for business staying at the Seda next door and made a point of going for a walk around the lagoon daily. I was also talking with some locals who jog there nightly

While the park is popular, it was never crowded. Besides the lagoon and statues, there is a great playground for children

I appreciated the fact that there were plenty of benches throughout the park to sit and enjoy the scenery. It is certainly one of the nicest city parks I have visited in the Philippines. It is immaculate as well
