Unbelievable. I was not aware of this site. It is a private house whose owner allows people to visit. A historical treasure frozen in time. A house with a long history. To preserve the site, you are asked to remove your shoes before the stairs....More

As a History buff I loved not only the house but the freedom visitors have to explore. I'm not sure why another reviewer said about not being able to touch anything because our guide told us the opposite,we could sit anywhere, pick anything up but please...More

Well worth a visit with a guided tour of details and history of the house, especially since it's in walking distance of other attractions like the Cebu Heritage Monument and the 1730 Jesuit House. Lots of neat little stories and background, and a wonderful place...More

This was a good tourist visit and is well presented. FREE TOUR GUIDE will give you some brief history of the place. Entrance fee is minimal but worth paying for the knowledge.

One of Cebu's historic houses, of which there are are three in close proximity: Casa Gorordo Museum and the 1750 Jesuit House, as well as this listing. All three are worth a visit. A tap Sandiego is less commercial than Casa Gorordo and more eclectic....More

Apart from Fort San Pedro, this is the go-to attraction in my opinion. The house is kept intact as it was several hundreds years ago. It is quite impressive.

Think of spending about an hour for the tour. It is an open house (still used sometimes by the owner) full of artifacts of cultural and historical significance. Like a museum, but you are allowed to even touch things. Try... More
