This review is quite late. Panagbenga Park is named after the City's annual Panagbenga Festival which has become a major tourist attraction

In the middle of the park is a coffee-tea shop where you enjoy lemon grass tea, brewed coffee with honey on the side. Perfect stop over after doing a walk around John hay

The said park is situated to a quieter Brgy. South Drive In Baguio. The said park is very close to Iggy's Inn where we stayed for 5 days. The park is small and nothing much to do. Their butterfly sanctuary is crying for help! Can't see that many butterflies there. They have totem poles for the kids to look at... More

I have traveled solo to experience their famous Panagbenga Festival and its worth my time and effort. I love the floats decorated with flowers. They are lots of locals and tourists watching the said festival.

Traffic was terrible when we went there. We weren't able to go to Camp John Hay and other places to do some photo op. Since we still have few hours to kill, we went to Panagbenga Park (walking distance from our hotel) just the heck of it. There was a Butterfly House for a 25-peso entrance. When we went inside,... As with the rest of the city, this park is a microcosm of where it lies. Dirty, smelly, really ill maintained. No use visiting this park. Sad.

sad to see what can be a really nice spot looking so rundown. It is a shame that the people responsible for its upkeep have let it deteriorate.
