Another interesting archaeological complex with its murals in its original state. Beautiful colours and lovely setting just by the Pacific Ocean.

The site is impressive and the Peruvians have done a great job in putting a good tourist infrastructure in place. El Brujo is in a nice location by the sea, probably as the Moche seemed to have a thing about the ocean. Again as with...More

We came here with low expectations as the Lonely Planet didn't write too much about this place. Surprisingly Huaca Brujo offers a new, nice museum with an interesting architecture, a tiny shop and great guides showing you around and explaining everything for free (tipp). We...More

The drive from Trujillo takes you along the crashing waves on the coast and then thru acres and acres of sugar cane. A pleasant drive on bad roads. The site is easy to do in an hour or so especially with an excellent guide as...More

This is a small site, but filled with history and some stunning colors. Also, the Museo Cao is worth the visit. Her burial site was found here and the artifacts are in the museum, as are a wealth of others from the site.

A very interesting place to visit. An hour's drive from Trujillo - so allow at least half a day. The roads our guide took, were tarmac except for the last 500 metres, so the journey was quite smooth. The new dual carriageway North from Trujillo...More
