Visited the temple of fertilization, but the memories will be from the small city. Very authentic and it felt like time stopped. Surreal, and amazing.

If you only have a little time in Puno, I suggest focusing on seeing as much of the lake as possible. However, for those who are staying for more time, Chucuito is definitely worth a visit! The fertility temple is fascinating and truly unique from anything I have ever experienced. I suggest going with a guide to gain a better... More

This village is directly across the road from Taypikala Lago hotel. We were surprised to find an active town (it was a holiday), with several restaurants, visitors (mostly Peruvian), and an Inca fertility site. It's worth a visit if you're in the area.

This is a small village south of Puno. Interesting Indian culture. It is small, and great to stop if on the way somewhere. Not worth a special visit. Be careful, thlocals do not lik their picture taken, they believe it takes their spirit from th. They get very upset, and really don't like visitors

There are many points of interest in the area. The Fertility Park is very interesting. Also the Plaza de Armas with the sun clock is interesting. There are many outstanding views of Lake Titicaca from this area.

When I visited the tourist office near the plaza, I inquired on other places I have not visited from last time. They recommended this place, Chuquito. It is nicknamed “The Rome of Peru”. After that nickname, it brought me curiosity. It sounded romantic. She gave me instructions how to get there, which shared bus to take, how much for the... More
