Very cheap, long and very detailed exhibit with a mate included as well as basically all the coca leaves you can chew and a coca candy. Large costume section and very nice staff. One of the highlights of Puno

This museum is recommended in our guide book and we had quite a lot of spare time in Puno so thought we would go, when we arrived it was shut up and looking through the window it appeared that it had been shut for years.

Really only two rooms, one with costumes where they show you two videos and another with exhibits about the coca plant, the written explanations of which replicate what was said in the video.

Interesting museum to visit and learn more about coca leaves (an original ingredient in coca-cola!). Also film-show with Spanish soundtrack.
