Very interesting Church. It was packed with worshippers on a Thursday early evening (why?). Lots of paintings and decorations. Affiliated with Opus Dei. No Shorts please

The church is not particularly attractive but there are some interesting things to see. Of particular interest in my opinion is the possibility of seeing the local people coming to pray without the presence of tourists (or a very limited number).

Chiclayo's Cathedral, like Chiclayo itself, is quite unassuming. Seems more like a church than a cathedral. Very pretty, however, and well maintained.
