My family and I traveled from Costa Rica to Panama in car. We left the car on Costa Rica's side and crossed the border. The process of crossing the border itself lasted about 4 hours, since we had to make a line in Costa Rica's side to pay taxes and getting the passport stamped (it was the same line for... More

Do your research before you make your reservation. Our hotel was super crappy. The couple in the room next to us was fighting and then love making and it shook the whole place. Investiguen antes de ir. Nuestro hotel fue malo, pero deberia de haber mejores hoteles en la isla.

If you want to go there from Panama city, you must take a bus from Albrook terminal to Colon, then in Colon's terminal take a bus to La Guaira, don't... More

Calm serene beach, nice cool little island that this beach is at.The drive is 2 hours from the city and the boat ride to the island is quick and nice. I really enjoyed it and would love to venture there again.

When I was there - 30 years ago - there was no electricity and no drinking water - it was a tropical paradise.
