This coffee tour was incredibly diverse! Amy was an excellent guide as she told us about the ethics and politics surrounding coffee growing, had us taste different roast grades, gave us a tour of the property and walked us through the entire process of growing, harvesting, drying, and roasting coffee. The property and the views from it are stunning and... More

What an experience! This tour is great for everyone who wants to experience the process around the coffee bean (actually its a fruit ^^) including the agriculture, business, politics, the process of roasting and off course the taste. We learned a lot and I can definitely recommend this tour.

Even though we emailed cafes de la luna really late at 23.00u if we could join them for the tour the next day at 8.00u, it was still possible. Really good! The price was $30 dollar and worth every penny. The guide Amy was cool and her English was really good. She knew all about coffee and guides us for... More

Other reviews have given all the details, so I can only concur with them that this is a fabulous tour and worth the $30/person. We contacted Finca Dos Jefes directly on a Sat night after arriving in Boquete asking about coffee tours on Monday and received a quick answer that very night. Tours are at 9am and 2pm and Richard... We went on the Finca de Jefes Coffee Tour on 30 December and it was such a educational experience and so much fun! Amy was exceptional, such an incredibly smart young lady who has such a passion for coffee and the entire lifecycle of coffee. Her English was so clear and precise that one would think she was an American... More

This was a fabulous tour and like many other reviewers I highly recommend it. Amy picked us up in town, provided us with a private tour as no one else had signed up for the time, and drove us back to town. She is highly knowledgeable and conscientious and clearly has a great respect for her work. Not just the... More

This is a wonderful tour to take if you're at all interested in coffee. In addition it's a great way to learn something about this area of Panama. Richard the owner took us on this tour and he clearly enjoys both the work of the farm and talking to people about it. In addition he picked us up from our... More

Had a tour of Richards coffee farm today and it was one of the best tours I've been on. First off, Richard is a great host. He talked about some history, politics, economics of coffee and how it affects the local industry. He is very knowledgable! We got to walk around the farm, seeing coffee plants at different ages and... More

Hummingbirds flew around us as we learned so much about coffee that my head is spinning from all of the information. We walked the beautiful grounds and then a volunteer manned the roasting machine. We each left with a bag of that freshly roasted coffee. We also tried some tea made from the coffee by product. Go on this tour.... More

We really enjoyed our coffee tour with Richard. He's a true connoisseur of coffee and was familiar with the local coffee roasters in our home city in the U.S., and we really enjoyed discussing our favorites. He teaches you to roast your own beans and provides a ton of interesting detail in the coffee tasting. His delicious Cafes de la... More
