Nature At Its Best

Beautiful place for day out, barbecue, water activity, hiking. Natural pool with deep diving areas. See to that you reach there by noon.

Incredible pools with pristine water and gorgeous oasis-like landscapes, the wadi shab deserves its reputation. Be sure not to stop at the first pools and keep on going towards the end of the valley to discover even more beautiful places.

I found the to be one of the more memorable places to visit in Oman. Its about 45 minutes from the parking to the pools. The pools are at some parts deep enough to jump in from the side. Take water and light lunch and enjoy the views of the gorge while sitting in the shade. The hike further up... More

We did a Day tour We had a guide with us who took us around. we actually went trekking to Wadi sahab in Sur and the experience is unforgettable. The guy with us was well experienced and familiar with the place and spoke english well, so we didn’t have to keep looking for want we wanted. We actually got a... More

Be aware, this is not a safe or easy sight to see. Many of the other reviews state that getting to the wadi is not a strenuous hike, but does require some agility. This is true, it isn't strenuous (ymmv) - instead it's dangerous. It starts easily, with a brief boat ride for 1 riyal (new price), and a 20-30... More

Wadi Shab must be on your todo list for Oman. Really impressive Wadi which can be easily reached by foot. At the large bridge you can take a boat or walk through the water to the other side (see photo) from the parking lot walk to the left and enter the water at the pipe. Follow the trail in the... Our guide was struck dumb and set off at a sprint pace for a walk up a valley to view the natural spring and river. Was hard going under the heat, the rocks are polished smooth due to so many visitors so was slippy even when dry.My 11 year old struggled,we stopped to take photos and our guide was gone,we watched Egyptian... This wadi is the best adventure here in Oman for me. 1,5h walking, swimming and climbing, thats amazing experience, as well as blue water! The cave you can swim in is wonderful, you can also jump to water from rocks. This place is wellknown in Oman so you can meet more tourists and locals than another places! Good for picnik... More

Yeah, it's true, the highway bridge doesn't make your first impression the best one! But just hop in one of the boats to cross the small river (1 Rial retour) and then walk inside this wonderful wadi with it's great rock formations and turquise pools! In the beginning you will have some kind of a track, later you will find... More
