What a contrast to Jabreen Castle. No info on any background or plaques in the rooms. Hot, dusty, limited amount to offer. It’s cheap at 1 Rial for 2

This has been well restored and is absolutely huge. There is plenty to explore with some great views. It is also very quiet as not many people visit it. It could benefit from some more information inside and maybe having a few rooms furnished, which...More

A fort steeped in history and restored recently. Well worth a visit. A good hour will cover this fort, take in the surrounds as well

The fort itself is set on a slight hill with good views all around and has been well restored with plenty of rooms to explore. At £1 pet person entry its not going to break the bank either. On the downside there's no furniture in...More

Fort in fabulous shape! Lots of history and friendly staff. No shops or restaurants on the fort site so might want to bring drinks or plan to go further for shops and restaurants. We were told souk by guide was close by but we did...More
