A cloudy day, but not raining! A small but speedy catamaran. Our skipper was Joe and whistled for a pelican which landed on the bow of the boat and stayed with us for some time. Passing the oyster beds, and wonderful flamingos, we passed the wreck and lighthouse and onto the amazing sight of hundreds of seals swimming off and... More

He comes aboard and stays for much of the three hour trip. Plenty to see. Flamingoes, seals, cormorants. All by thr thousand. The patter of the guide is informative and amusing and from the start one is fed a stream of refreshments culminating with oysters, sparkling wine and assorted sandwiches. A great experience and a cool ( in both senses)... More

A highly professional operation delivered a magic morning for,us. So many seals, in the water and on the beaches frolicking and racing like kids into the bay. We saw dolphins, flamingoes, pelicans, many birds, and various sea craft as well as oil rigs under repair. The staff were friendly, courteous and enthusiastic. Special mention of Jackson who facilitated feeding seals... More

Great tour with lots of wildlife including seals, Pelican etc but no Dolphin to be seen. The captain was very entertaining hand could summon up wildlife with a whistle. Excellent food and drink with a cooler of free beer available. A excellent tour which included collection and return to hotel by mini bus. A very pleasant morning out.

If you are ever in Walvis Bay you must go on one of the numerous boat tours that offer views of the extensive seal colonies and oyster beds. You will not be disappointed.

Loved this 20 passenger morning with seals and pelicans coming aboard. The lagoon was calm, allowing pictures of flying pelicans reflected in the water. We were served beverages and a light buffet with champagne in view of flamingos. Also saw a large sea turtle.

We had a marvellous day! Several companies are offering Seal and Dolphin tours in Walvis. Not sure if there is much difference between them. You will see Seals that come up on the boat, Pelicans that laso land on the boat (be careful with your food - they will try to steal it), seagulls and Dolphins. When we did the... More

This is not the first time I experienced the marine adventure with Dolphin Tours - to summarize in few straightforward words - it's worth every cent! Excellent and friendly service, lodge transfer to and from, great food and refreshments on board, knowledgeable skippers and overall one fantastic adventure!

Not-to-be-missed while on Namibian coast! An attractive marine wildlife adventure with bird watching and cruise to fur seal colony while dolphin watching on the way! Snacks, Champagne and light lunch including Namibian prime oysters are served on board - great variety to Namibian itinerary :) Conveniently transport is provided to the cruise departure at no extra charge.

We booked this trip to get the seaside view upon our visit to the coast of Swakopmund and Walvis Bay. We booked Dolphin Tours as they use boats with max 14 people, we eventually only had 8 onboard. Nothing worse than those crowded tourist boats we know from Europe, but that idea seems to be picking up here as well... More
