I love rocks and minerals and it was a wonderful place for me. The place has two parts: a museum, entrance fee and I could take photos, and the shop, free but no photos. It is an impressive place and could be located in New...More

There is a museum displaying various precious and semi precious minerals. It is very well set out and informative. There are shops selling jewelry and stones.. Some really high end, priced accordingly. Some more suited to a limited budget there is a gem garden to...More

What a beautiful display of gem stones! There is a cave with crystals and lighting, which is amazing to walk through. All staff were friendly and helpful, which was really refreshing. Definitely a must-see in Swakopmund.

Excellent display of gem stones. Large cave of crystals makes it fun for children. Some of the largest crystal clusters are in this collection.

What a fantastic place! The collection of stones is jaw dropping. The displays are beautiful. Great signage and professional layout. The jewellery shops are spectacular. A must visit while in Swakopmund. This is after all what Namibia is famous for.

Visitors can view Namibia's wealth in crystals at the Kristall Galerie in Swakopmund. I fondly remember this place from childhood, the most exciting feature being the cave, of course, which is still there!! It only costs N$20 per person and does not take up a...More

It certainly is true that it feels more like a large shop than an exhibition, but we still found it most interesting and we learned a lot. Plenty of beautiful gems that we had never heard of. Maybe they shouldn't charge an entry fee ?
