You can get cheap material here for formal wear. Much cheaper than at the Pasar Payang. The street has both shops selling material best suited for local formal wear and restaurants. Some of the restaurants are only open during the day.

The street only about 800m but other than unique / historical structure, visitors can explore around to locate different type of street mural in few alleys. The streets also come with local coffeeshop (Kopitiam), cafe and souvenir shop as well. Recommend for short visit.

this old street is the best base for tourist to explore the town. eateries and the famous attractions are within walking distance.

The place looks historical but a bit sluggish. Not many shops/restaurants were open on a Friday evening. We tried Restoran Master Wong for dinner during the heavy rain. The food was nice but a bit sweet for me. Can have a walk around if nearby.

It is a lovely town, picturesque and nice for a walk. Not to mention that it is the only place where you can find beer (on tap or bottled).

The Chinatown is amazing. The combination architecture, the old shops, restaurants and the recently added street art make it a real gem of a place. Well worth a visit.
