Photo is showing the old location of the visitors centre in the old Courthouse. It has moved to the UTC building which is near the Top Spot seafood food hall.

By the way, the Tourist Info Center has been moved...close to Top Spot Food Court in the UTC Building.

Not that helpful. They tried to steer us toward certain guides and tour groups. Were unknowlegable about some information . Did speak English

A big thanks to Angela and her team at the Visitor’s Information Centre for all the maps, brochures, suggestions, advises and help during our one week stay in Kuching. We will definitely return again!
I would highly recommended that you to pay them a visit before starting your journey in Sarawak. The Centre is located beside the Old Courthouse by Kuching Waterfront.

The Kuching Visitor`s Information Centre has all the details you need to enhance your visit. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable and offer plenty of good advice. I recommend them.

The visitor info centre is now in the UTC building not far from Hilton Kuching. Really very poor now - a few pamphlets and a couple of people ready to answer questions. Why it has moved to this out of the way spot, who knows?

We had our own guide to show us around in this place. However even that we were grateful for our guide, the place is full of written information about Borneo. It gave a great insight into Borneo's history and the rich animal and plant life that is on this island.

The staff is very professional, kind and keen to help you with any enquiry you may ask. Phone numbers, adresses and also the public bus schedules to get to your preffered destination. It is always nice to get the service you would expect, so both thumbs up to you. This is why I love Malaysia :)
