We spent 5 nights here staying in the hostel. The amenities are clean and you get a kitchen and fridge to cook your meals. Unfortunately there is not hot water but for $5AUD a night you cant complain. The national park itself is great, especially...More

A real jungle experience that can be quite easily done yourself. On arrival, a friendly guide Dominic gave us the low down on the different trails available and even suggested a route for us. The trails themselves are well signposted and if you take the...More

Kubah National Park provides awesome, well-kept trekking trails that take you into the real rainforests of Sarawak. ***You do not need a guide to experience Kubah National Park!!!*** Kubah is easily accessible. We took an Uber (new to this region of Malaysia) and it took...More

Don't trust the hiking times suggested by the park - took the 3-4 hour one way hike in 3.5 hours both ways. Primary forest, but all hikes signposted nicely (except for the start). Beware of leeches who live in leaves on the ground though.

That why this is good place for trekking. At the end of long journey there is a great surprise - a waterfall with clean chill water.

I've been here four times and if I ever come back to Kuching, I will do that again. The summit has good view, and the waterfall is so huge and perfect spot for picnic after hiking.

is this park worth going to the extent that it means I get to spend one day less in Mulu? Been debating this for two days and I can't make up my mind. Thanks for your input.

spend more on Mulu. A day trip can generally cover Kubah NP. if you have to decide summit or waterfall, go for the waterfall it was soo huge and amazing and worth it.
