Kuching water front is unique in the way the promenade has been installed It makes a very good walkway to 😊

Not sure if we just showed up at the wrong time, but overall it was relatively uninteresting. The block with Bla Bla Bla restaurant on it actually had a lot more going on Friday night than the Esplanade.

I think it would be better at night, as we went during the day and there were very few things open. However, I would still thoroughly recommend walking down there as the views along the river, especially towards the end are just wonderful...

Lots of eateries selling traditional food, along with market stalls. A good place for a sunset stroll and photo and tasty cheap food.

Lots of hockers and food stalls in the evening...very pleasant walking along the waterfront people-watching. Beautiful breezes and well lit for walking.

This area is well developed and has sampan ferries, eateries, activities and is clean. It is also the site of a Police Station and the Sarawak Tourism Board. It is great to walk along and take in the sites. If you go across the river...More
