We hired a taxi in Kuching to take us there & back. Took about 2 hrs to drive there, but an interesting drive once you get to the countryside. We decided against the Longhouse experience, just the Hot Springs. On arrival, it was just as we had seen in the photos. Very undeveloped, with good paths from the road down to the toilet/changing room building. Standing on top of the riverbank looking across the river to the hot springs - I was so pleased that we went out of our way to go there. Climb down the riverbank, look very carefully up & down the river (those crocs are everywhere in Borneo), and wade across to the pool. The river was quite swift but it's shallow so didn't feel too scary. We didn't swim - sat on the side & soaked our tired knees & feet. There is a small pool but that looked pretty filthy so didn't bother with that.

It's not difficult to locate this gem. We did something different for vacation. Water play and relaxing in the hot springs. It was abit slippery when we were in the water and needed alot of strength to balance ourselves. Just be extra careful.

Travel with friends and family. We stop by this Hotspring because we cant go to Kalimantan Viewpoint at Borneo Highland Resort due to bad weather. Since we already at this side of Kuching, as alternative, we stop by here. You can enjoy the river and hot spring. You also can do some barbeque and you have to bring all the utensil and ingredients. There a shower and clean toilet. Also note that there an entrance fee.. Do note that this is private property, so if you see fruit like rambutan or durian, its better that you as the guardian if you want to consume it.

We visited Annah Rais with a group and unfortunately did not have the opportunity to take full advantage of the facilites. However, we did go on the canopy walks and walked around the premises. Wished we had more time to use the pool and the hot-springs.

Clear sand, warm and relaxing hot spring, quiet surrounding. Worth visit when you are around (e.g. visiting Annah Rais longhouses) for relax and maybe have a picnic.

Brought my elderly mum, aunt and uncle from Semenanjung (West Msia) and they had a great time..they say they want to go again...nice soak for old weary bones and if it gets too hot..opt for a soak in the cold stream of fresh clear sandy stream...or just add more cold stream water to your hot bath to the temperature you prefer ;o)
Best to go on a weekday..its crowded with tourists on weekends!

It's a nice place to relax - the stream is very clear and very chilli, you can go a bit further from the crowd, take a deep dive in the cold stream and then come back to the hotspring. 5 MYR per person to enter, take some bananas that you can buy at the longhouse and you can easily spend 1-2 hours here as a relaxing break.

It's about an hour drive from Kuching but along the journey you can see and feel the scenery of Borneo. My favourite part of Anna Rais Hotspring is when I dip myself in the cool stream, I can feel the warmest in my feet. ( some part of the stream you can feel the warm sand). It's a great place to relax.
