Very nice, photogenic, can actually explore cave without flashlight or even using cellphone light. Steep steps, but there are railings. About 50KM from Kuching city, easy drive

You need to drive out from Kuching, Fairy Cave is about 45 km away near the little gold-mining town of Bau. Fairy Cave opens from 8.30 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.; entrance is RM1 for locals, RM5 for foreigners. A 4-storey platform will bring you to...More

This is a neat place to go to Fairly hard climb on slippery surfaces so leave the old and infirm at the bottom and show them the pictures

If you're planning to go somewhere suddenly without plan, you can go here just for a stroll and enjoy the fresh environment and natural resources. Take pictures, have fun & have some meals nearby at Bau Town.

We took an Uber from Kuching and he waited for us at the cave. The visit will take about an hour maximum. The cave is really nice, with beautiful light and all green leaves (not a dark, scary cave). We really enjoyed the visit!

Heard about this place and decided to have a go. Need to be dressed for the trip because you need to track on nature. Weather is generally hot and be prepared for mossie attacks. Upon entering, it is dark and feels mysterious. Torchlight was a...More

We were held up and got there at 3.40pm - it closes at 4pm. We broke land speed records to get there and the attendant would not let us go up, even though we assured him we could do it. It would have take us...More

The cave is worth a visit as it can be combined with nearby wind cave. We were with our 2 young kids and it's doable even though an effort (worth 33 floors on my iPhone). The place is huge.

My apologies, I have no recommendations on scooter rental but it's a great idea. You will have flexibility to move around and see other places. It will save you time. Enjoy your trip!
I would like to know which cave is more worth going, fairy cave or wind cave? Reason being time constraint. Therefore can only go for one cave.

The Fairy Cave is harder to reach, but is more scenic. The wind cave has micro bats is is not a photo friendly area.
