This was a lot of fun and the caves are not too far from kuching by car. Make sure to wear good walking shoes as some parts are slippery and without steps. Amazing stalactites and stalagmites.

We have kids with age 5, 6 and 8, climbing to the cave is acceptable challenge. Just watch out for slippery steps and bring your torch light (or handphone flash light will do) as some of the area will be dark. No attendant and proper...More

The entrance is not congruent to the environment; in fact it is odd and ugly. You paid and then walked up this ugly concrete structure to the entrance of the giant cave some 100 metres above the ground. Needs a good torch to explode this...More

We took a taxi to the caves, approximately 1:15 hours from Kuching. The distance isn't so far but the roads are bad and the traffic slowed it down even more. Our kids were 3, 8 and 10 when visiting and they all climbed the several...More

Very nice, photogenic, can actually explore cave without flashlight or even using cellphone light. Steep steps, but there are railings. About 50KM from Kuching city, easy drive

The Fairy Cave is harder to reach, but is more scenic. The wind cave has micro bats is is not a photo friendly area.
