Advised to wear comfortable shoes or sports shoes as you need to climb up stairs. Nice scenery to snap pics and chill a lil. One of the attraction in Bau.

If you happen to be in Kuching, this is a must visit place. The journey to the cave brings you through a narrow and steepe stair, and it can be physical challenging to some. But all the sweat and effort is truly worth it once you get yourself into the cave. I was just simply awestruck by the sheer size... More

Located in a very scenic area, these caves really are very atmospheric and have a fairytale quality to them. The photos don't really do justice to the reality. Home to bats and bugs, as well as nice rock formations. Near to the Wind Caves, where close up views of the wildlife are much easier, but the caves are less attractive.... More

For all cave lovers, the fairy caves offer an opportunity to experience varied aspects of a large cave, including fauna, creatures e.g. Bats, centipedes, spiders etc. and are large enough to spend atleast an hour in them exploring. A steep flight of steps lead to them and so not for the faint hearted or others not physicaaly fit.

I had been in many caves previously but never in one that had so much tropical vegetation. It reminded me of adventure movies like the Raiders of the Lost Ark. Our guide and expert caver James took us deeper into the chambers than most people venture. He pointed out many of the geological features and showed us the different kinds... More

Adventure & worth seeing, unexpected beautiful views as from the outside of the caves its looks normal but once you start to climb its required stamina. The starting passage is a bit difficult - small hole of passage & you need to be extra careful to get through with it, wet & slippery staircase & a bit narrow. Those afraid... More

It may not be very well known to the outside world but Fairy Caves is endowed with many beautiful stalagmites & stalactites. It is about an hour's drive from Kuching City which makes it relatively accessible for those who want an insight of beautiful cave structures as a quick visit. There are many stories and legends of Fairy Caves that... More

I really enjoyed the Fairy Caves. After ascending some stairs, you enter into the cave and head up a couple of ladders until the vast cave opens up. Once you get inside, you certainly see why the place earned its name. I expected that at any moment, a small gnome would pop out of the corner and welcome my girlfriend... More

These massive caves are tucked away and provably not very well known. This makes their enchantment all the more beautiful. Beautifully domed and easy to climb and explore- even for the not so fit! - the fairy caves wye a definite highlight of this trip.
