Highly recommend the night market at the fish quay. All fresh, barbecued to order at great prices. Large prawns at MYR20 for 500 grams, that’s less than $7 Sing. We followed up with a nice fresh fish for the same price. My second time here...More

It would be good if this is your first time visiting the night market but I personally find it distasteful. The air is bad and stuffy. And there are also many touts around.

The night markets along the Waterfront in Kota Kinabalu are a splash of colour and culture with a wide range of goods and produce at very cheap prices. The markets create an excellent opportunity to try local fruits, vegetables, seafood, coffee, spices and snacks. RM...More

Busy and great for local produce. Can be somewhat duplicated on the many stalls but this allows lots of bargaining power. Great place to purchase gifts for friends nd family at low prices.

There are different stalls selling seafood (cooked to order), fruits (such as durian), vegetables, snacks and even grilled meats. The food seemed safe to eat, especially if they are cooked or grilled in front of you. Most of the prices are reasonable (we didn't try...More

We stumbled across this fish market and very glad that we found it. It is around a 10min walk along the harbour from Jesselton jetty. There are around 5 different vendors that have many different types of fish and molluscs laid out at the front...More

We bought fresh tuna fish is only RM15 per kg. Big prawn Rm35 per kg. Broccoli RM2.50 perkg. The price for every stall is quite similar. You can ask them one by one to get your best price.

Hi, I am afraid, nobody has done a survey to measure that, however I didn't get sick and neither any of my friends.Food is well cooked so my advice avoid salad and raw fish and enjoy your vacation😊
