Passed through Warisan Square looking for a local luggage vendor ( our luggage had been destroyed by Air Asia), when were advised to try Warisan Square but found the selection of stores limited. And the square seemed run down, past its prime.

If you're looking for a place to shop in Kota Kinabalu, here is your destination. However, most likelly you will get dissapointed. Apparently this place was quite revolutionary when it was newly open, now nothing exciting really apart from a standard quality experience of an air-conditioned mall.

Nothing much in this mall. Rather disappointing. You can look for local items like pepper, tshirts, souvenirs like key chains, magnets. Less than 15 shops selling these stuff.

I first went there in July 2014 to buy some recommended chocolates (from online reviews) and had a hard time looking for the shop. The buildings are dark, quiet and the shops open are sparse in between, which gives them a dodgy appearance. I returned just last week and sad to say that nothing has changed. I walked past a... Wow... What happened to this place? Long time ago when it's just opened, I can see the potential. But now... Location is superb, no doubt. Within walking distance to the waterfront, Filipino market etc. However, the condition of this place is deteriorating. The management gave up on maintaining this place? Some of the shops are not even open when I... More

Good location but really needs to be refurbished and maintained. Hotels are also around the area but tourists should be careful when selecting a place to stay here. We have booked a hotel here thinking that location is nice but sad to know that when we came, real lobby is at the 3rd floor and that you'll have to go... More

There has been many improvements over the years ..Some of the shops are looking tired .There are a couple of good shoe shops in the complex and a Casual surf shop out the front .The gem is on the First floor up looking over the highway to the ocean. The Korean restaurant up the escalator is as good as you... More

Yes, like other locals, it is sad to see Warisan Square, which used to be a lovely place to eat, with a lot of variety of international cuisines, and many shopping options become the dump it is today. We loved snacking Big Apple Donuts, shopping at the Roxy and Quiksilver stores (my mum prefers Esprit), and eating at the restaurants... More

Walked around after dinner at a nearby restaurant.Place looks not as wonderful as before. There are still shops selling popular sports brand. Managed to get a few short though. This place could have been better.
