It was thrilling to see 2 open rafflesia flowers and another about to open. Tourists are charged a lot more than locals to see this natural wonder that take over a year to open and only stay open for a week but it was worth seeing.

I love the whole trip and journey to here. Love the scenery and everything. Bring raincoat and mosquito repellent if you want to visit here.

When booking this uo from the UK I was surprised initially at the cost involved in climbing a mountain! But having been I can understand why, everything (and I mean everyhting - sheets, towels, food, doors! etc) is carried up one way only - by porters! And all the rubbish is carried back down too. Anyway what an amazing experience,... More

Must go on a walking trail to get the feel of the park. Only let down is there is not much on offer in terms of food.

The park has so many walks, butterflies and places to explore. Birds and butterflies in abundance and amazing view of Mt Kinabalu as a backdrop. The botanical garden had many wild orchids to view. You need a guide to point them out as some are hard to spot

so, i was researching climbing up the mountain and it was soooo expensive, in the end my boyfriend and I went on a mountain biking trip with a super company called BIKE BORNEO. I really enjoyed it. Great guides, good food, they were so helpful and drove us to our hostel in Poring afterwards, and the cycling was GREAT. Obviously... More

Enjoyed some great walks both on the ground and in the canopies here. Very interesting - saw innumberable species of plants and animals and would have spent days there if I could. A wonderful place to be.

The title speaks for itself. I love this place and will come again when time permits. You can also have a great view of Mt. Kinabalu. Great place for vacation and for photography.
