Lovely gardens on the lake but not during the day as there are lot of ground to cover. As we were there during the hottest days of the year there were not many flowers. The locals say the best time for flowers is August

Nice and peaceful park. Nice views over a lake. I went on a Thursday morning and was the only one in the park (apart from the maintenance staff). Plenty of toilets around and rubbish bins. You can rent a bike, but I just walked around.

Putrajaya Government District and gardens is a must do if youre in KL. Its only a short drive from the city and well worth a visit for the outstanding architecture and green space areas on the side of the river.

An expansive and lovely park - with some really lovely features to it - sculptures, planting, the obelisk. Well worth a bit of time. Will return.

The Putrajaya Botanical Garden is still open, but some of the facilities are not available due to the ongoing virus. So there’s no bike hire or boat rides etc, basically anything that requires staff. At times it felt like I had the entire place to myself such was the dearth of visitors. The gardens are beautifully landscaped, with some great trails of gardens, forests and even a canopy walk. A great place to see some lovely plants.

The story behind these gardens is very interesting and provides another dimension to the history of Malaysia.

The recent Royal Floria 2019 brought me and my sister to this amazing Botanic Garden, a perfect place for enhancing health. The morning fresh air, the beautiful orchids, bonsai and many extra activities had brighten up my day. I strolled from one place to another, passing the lake, the specific attractions, the trees, bamboos, uphill and downhill, photo after photo, recorded all in my memory. Just imagine, from 9.30 am till 2.00 pm almost 5 hours, not feeling tired, instead in high spirit of enjoyment.

Different types of trees and flowers. A place where you can walk, jog or cycle. Early in the morning or evening is the time to go

Amazing for 3-4 hour trip. If you are foreigner do ensure you bring mosquito repellent as there is a lot of mosquitoes. The park is well maintained in term of tree pruning. Some area lacks shade so it might be a good idea to wear a hat and ensure you bring your water.

May I know what is the timing to visit here? Is it hot (sunny day) if we visit around 3pm?

Better in the morning before 11am. If you want to visit in the afternoon, will be a bit hot. Some part of the garden not cover by big tree. Depends on weather too, sometimes no wind at all, you will sweat thru even just slow walk.
