This is amazing. It's probably best to try to get a guide to give you a better insight into the history and culture.

If you are in Penang it is worth taking a look at what is probably the best of the old Clan houses, Cost a few Ringgits to get in but is very photogenic.

This is a small and beautiful temple with an intriguing history. A must see when in Penang. The vibrancy of its colours don’t overshadow the stunning black and white murals at the back.

Lovely temple. Quiet when we visited. Great to see the connection with Penang history. Definitely worth the nominal admission fee.

I would always suggest a good guide for the visit of this breathtaking place. Otherwise you don’t get half the informations about this wonderful place. So much to discover.

It will depend on individual and how thorough one wants to be. I would suggest around an hour or so to have a better view of the place. There are handful of things to see.
