Richdad Cafe in KOMTAR, Georgetown Penang

If you have not been to this café, don't bother, not worth your money and time. Six of us stopped there for lunch after a visit to the new Tech Dome at KOMTAR. We were hoping... read more

Komtar tower was built as a new image for the island some time after independence around the same time penang lost its free port status. So the building itself and the floor plan do remind visitors of a different era in many respects. The shops inside the mall areas of the building are by and large also in line with... More

Visited the Rainbow Skywalk last week and it was quite the experience. It's situated on top of the Komtar Mall, the 68th floor i believe, so it's QUITE high up and offers a fantastic view of Georgetown. One side, you can see the harbour and the sea, and the other side, the beautiful mountains. The skywalk itself, is really freaky.... More

Revival to survive by going back to the era of dinosaurs ..in the heart of Komtar..could be seen from the distance. That is the lastest attraction...the focus of the future. As you walk around between two other shopping complexes..Prangin mall and 1st avenue...then compare all three...which do you prefer ? The easy access to Rapidpenang buses to your destinations...or by taxis..or... More

BEWARE of cheating attendant at Secure Parking, the one with entrance parallel to the Post Office on ground level. We were asked to drive straight to machine when we stood in front of the parking payment machine (new to the place) n so we thought it was malfunctioning. Alas, the attendant spelt a fare n hand wrote on the same... More

If you have not been to this café, don't bother, not worth your money and time. Six of us stopped there for lunch after a visit to the new Tech Dome at KOMTAR. We were hoping to get a quick bite since our teenage boys and girl were hungry and tired and we want a cosy place for lunch. We... More

with quite a number of new things, especially the SkyWalk. A little high on the price, but it is an experience to walk on a glass floor at the 68th

Just been there with my 3kids. The place is great, the view is great, the ticket price is quite high but what do you expect, any where you go also, it will cost, so that is not much of an issue. However the staffs are not very efficient. Once you get the tickets, we had to wait for the escort... More

The admission for the viewing platform is 118rm./person. No family or group discounts. Thats pretty ridiculous for Penang.

I went to the Sky Walk the highest floor in Penang. The ticket price was expensive RM 88 for locals and RM 118 for foreigner. But I was super curious and want to know how walking on a glass while looking on the streets from the 68th floor feels like. I was scared when imagined it, but it was not... More

Visited during December from 24-27th. Don't know why but didn't see much of a crowd. Nice place to shop and great deals when prices are compared. For foreigners it's easy to encash currency 💱 as one place as you enter and another place at the ground floor. Along side Komtar you get travel agents selling tickets for KL / Singapore... More
